About

I am spending this year as an exchange student in Munich, Germany.  I live in dorm-like apartment with a tiny "kitchenette."  That includes two burners, a mini-fridge, a sink and about four inches of prep-space.  However, I made a few sacrifices (who really needs a desk??) and expanded my kitchen into pretty much the whole room.  I invested in a few basic kitchen appliances like a toaster oven, a hand blender and of course a Spätzle maker and have been very happy with just about everything I have been able to make.

This is my room, or better to say, my kitchen where I also happen to sleep and sometimes study.  I re-arranged my room so that the table would be closer to the kitchen.  So much for having a desk... This has become my kitchen counter, dining room table, pantry and sometimes drying space for dishes.  No regrets.  Way better use of a desk, in my opinion.

That's it.  Literally, two burners and a mini-fridge.

My pride and joy, the little toaster oven that could.  Way to go, German Engineering.  This toaster oven is legit.  You can adjust the exact temperature and the heat source settings.  It's paid for itself, over and over again.

My tip jar.  Funds for all the Kaffee und Kuchen that come out of Oranges 821! :-)  Thanks Thea!
